Jan 24, 2008 Pittsburgh Penguins Georges Laraque
1pd 02:19 Philadelphia Flyers Riley Cote
Comments: Right off of the faceoff they drop the gloves and square off at center ice. They grab ahold of each other and Laraque throws a quick left. Cote falls to the ice but Laraque allows him to get back up. They spin around and Laraque starts to connect with numerous lefts, knocking Cote's helmet off and rocking him. Cote throws a left of his own but it comes up short. Laraque continues to land with lefts until Cote throws another left, knocking both off-balance and to the ice.

Wow...Cote maybe false confidence after getting the better of Mcgratts with a bum shoulder. Reality sets in here. Rocked and or rolled.

High marks to Cote for still standing, but easy win for BGL. Who doesn't know how to use the mouse and 'drop down' list, and accidentally put Riley as the winner, lol ?

Good job by Laraque.

Notice how Cote goes down and Laraque doesn't throw any punches and allows him to get up.

That's how you fight, boys.

Good job, Georges!

Cote tried, but big George is too damn strong. I am a Flyers and Cote fan, but that was an old fashioned ass whoopin!

Nice to see the code Laraque had a golden opportunity to plaster Cote's head clear off his head when he slipped down but at least he waited til he got up and then cleaned his clock. Brass ones though to through with big George.

Absolute domination by Laraque, Cote will be never in the same again. He was absolutely destroyed :) by BGL. And the same will go with Brash soon. Cote is simply not in the same class at all. Great win BGL!!

big g is a bad man! i give cote credit though..atleast he tried most guys take one shot from big g and go down and stay down and act like they lost balance.

not even fairly close, what clown voted cote? glaring absence of certain flyers on the bench giggling like little school girls from safely behind their visors while cote was getting pummeled mercilessly. credit to big george for allowing cote a go with the reigning champ. credit cote for his continued eagerness to fight (hint to certain other flyboys - visorless) all comers. cote not a top of the line fighter yet, but give him more nhl experience and time to fill out and he will be the feared fighter the flyers have lacked since brashear left town.
