You Red Wing fans and Pronger haters never cease to amaze me. The only shots Cleary got in were after Pronger lost his balance and fell down. Then Cleary made the mistake of breaking the unwritten rule by punching Pronger when he was down. What happened as a result? LOL....payback is a bitch isn't it? How's the face Cleary? Before anyone bitches about Pronger fighting Clearly think about this...Cleary didn't have to agree to the fight did he? No, so go clean out your sandy vag's and stop whining on his behalf.

Pronger knocked his sorry as$ right out of the game

Pronger easily

Cleary is a little wuss; if he wants to throw punches when the other guy is down and then wants to cover up like a little sissy when he goes down, he doesn't deserve to play on an NHL team.

Cleary held his own giving up almost a half foot on pronger. Cleary had nothing to lose on this one. Pronger should have won because of his size but failed to impress.

the only guy pronger has ever fought over 6 feet was m.hadzus who does not fight, and was jumped by that dirty, no good , toilet seat pronger

This actually was a very even fight and i'd say you can only call it a draw. If you count the punches landed (not simply thrown) they both landed 4 punches a piece, the fact that cleary was bleeding doesnt mean a whole lot, though he did miss the rest of the game, at least he had the balls to take on a guy like pronger...good scrap and even greater game for those who watched the whole thing.

Being a blues fan, saw pronger for many years. Great on the outlet pass,
strong defensively ......but he is a big puss! He is freakin 6'6" and he never went with anybody. He is good for a slash and a crosscheck, but whenever we needed someone to take charge..... he was no where to be found.

I F-ING love Danny Cleary. Hope you seen this one Ken Holland! Sign him.

I don't like the last couple of punches Pronger threw, while Cleary was down; but I really don't think he would have done this if Cleary didnt try to bomb him twice when they first fell to the ground. Pronger did give Cleary a good chance to back down beforehand, but if you watch the slow motion reply, it seems as though Cleary really wanted to go him...he could have easily skated away! I'll give Pronger a slight victory, in a definite lop-sided fight! I can only hope that all this Pronger hate, is coming from those who are not Canadian citizens. The guy has done too much for Canadian hockey(beside's leaving Edmonton) to not appreciate!

Cleary gets mad props for taking on Pronger who absolutely refuses to tangle with anyone in his league size/skill wise. Not sure of Dan Cleary's record, or even if he's fought before, but he gets credit for standing up to Pronger and responding to the challenge. There are those who want to hate on Detroit because they are a puck control team that plays their game rather than the body, but for those who haven't taken notice the Wings are not afraid of anyone. Hopefully they'll stay healthy this year for the playoffs and make another deep run for the Cup.

Cleary didnt look like he really wanted to be in this one...threw his best punches when Pronger was on the ground, and then turtled at the end...have to give it to Pronger

"typical pronger fights a guy a foot smaller than him and throws punches when he on the ground..pronger is the BIGGEST ***** in the league.. "

looked like Cleary threw a couple himself. or do you just ignore the facts when you post?

Pronger = one of the most overrated players in the NHL IMO. A guy that the whine ass should have wiped all over the ice, he barely stays with Cleary.

I would have loved to see the whiner go with Kocur, Probert or even McCarty when they were around. He'd be looking for lessons after that.

It was a draw. Cleary held his own against pronger who's 6 inches taller. Cleary got the 1st take down, but pronger gouged out his eye which forced him to cover up.

Pronger wins it but you gotta give Cleary credit for dropping them with a much bigger opponent
