Rivet wins. Crap fight. Dirty hit by Rivet started it. Rivet is good at dirty hits, not much else.

Daley is a joke..trying to be a hero, well, thats what happens. He got whipped.Leave the fighting for true enforcers.

The refs totally screwed up and botched everything in that sequence of events. Rivet, at the very least, should've gotten a 2 minute minor for checking from behind...could've been a borderline 5 minute major. Of course, the refs don't call anything. Then they go and give Daley an instigator!! What a joke. Granted, Daley was no match for Rivet (props to Daley for not even hesitating to stand up for his captain), but the refs sucked it up.

Rivet did the same exact thing to Ott last time these teams met (after Ott put a hit on Thornton). Rivet skated across the rink, after the play, and jumped Ott. No instigator was called on that fight and it was way more blatant. Anyway, refs blew it and Rivet was ok in my book, but he's not progressed into the cheapshot category.

Rivet with a cheap shot, but Morrow has to keep his head up and turn into the hit. A shame Daley gets a misconduct for standing up for Morrow. Oh, and Rivet schooled Daley in the fight.

Rivet clearly outpunched Daley, not much doubt about that. Rivet win.
I am also surprised that a penalty wasn't called on the hit on Morrow. Have to expect some rough, physical play from the Sharks, though. (PS-The Stars' net "mysteriously" came off against the Wild, too.)

Daley is a horrible fighter, Barch, Ott, and Winchester were all on the ice at the same time, and Daley goes over there?!?!? I'm a Stars fan, but come on. I think the hit would've been a good hit, had he (Morrow) not bent bent over. In my opinion, that's where the penalty comes in. I can't believe the call tough, they get away with a potential injury causing hit, AND get the PP?? unfknblvbl....gotta love those refs.

obviously would've been a suspension.. if Morrow had jumped in on Rivet.. but it woulda been entertaining .. WTF WHY THE HELL DID DALEY GET A 2 MINUTE INSTIGATOR!

btw.. extremely good coverage by whatever station that was

Anytime Daley tries to fight he automatically gets a win from me. He's like the little brother who jumps the bully who is hurting his brother.

Rivet whooped on him. Wish that Morrow could have gotten up and taken on Rivet. That would have been a better match up.

Rivet is no slouch, he can still throw em. I always thought he was a very underrated fighter. I guess the kid Daley found out the hard way.

LOL

Daley ought to actually throw punches if he's going to pick a fight.

Rivet pummled him and actually let up at the end.

The hit should have been penalized, I don't think it was in the box score. The refs in this league are atrocious. That's not a homer call, I don't like the Stars, what I really don't like is the officiating. It's getting old reaaaal fast.
