Krys Barch vs D.J. King

Wish this one would've been a toe to toe affair. King was cut with Barch's first punch but not a whole lot after that.

King and Barch have tangled before, but it looked like Barch didn't really want much of King in this one. He got in a shot that opened up a cut over King's right eye, and after that, basically just wrestled around with King for a while. They ended up on the boards, King checked him into the boards and ended up opening something on his face. The refs pulled em apart, but Kinger wanted another piece of Barch. King, btw, leads the league in lowest ice time per fight, at just over 16 minutes.

5 minutes for both.

Fight was hard to see as I was in sixth row right in front of fight and could not see the whole thing. One thing I did see was Barch's face smashed agains rthe glass that was great. i would say Barch got more punches but a pretty even fight over all.

King hit em more and harder, Barch scored early .

Barch got a good shot in the start of the fight where he bloodied King's eye. This only infuriated King who came back with short punches and opened up a cut on Barch. King wanted to keep on fighting while Barch was hanging on for dear life. Definite draw.

King and Barch each throw a couple of punches to start with, King was cut over the right eye ,they wrestle with King trying to dislodge Barch from his bear hug and they mainly just wrestle with King throwing some in close punches without much effect. Barch was hanging on like panty hose on a fat lady's thighs. Barch also went off with a cut. Give this one narrowly to King, for effort in actually wanting to fight and not wrestle and hug.

I am a Stars fan and a fan of King. I am not a fan of the fighters on the Stars roster.The Stars do not have a true proven pugilist. However, in this scrap Barch held his own and surprisingly got in some decent punches that cut King.

I thought I had one two many whiskey shots after witnessing Barch winning a fight against a legitimate brawler who is one of my favorites in the N.H.L.

Dj got cut on his right eye brow, Barch got cut too, but I couldn't tell from where. Barch was hugging on King, King threw what he could. Not a great fight. King was not happy when the officals broke it up.
