Belak made a few unscruplous moves; however, he got the best of George. I believe, as do many others on this forum, that Parros' injury attributed to his lackluster performance during the fight. But what amazes me most is some of the unsportsman-like attitudes from some of you people. Example: Clark75 Quote: "He could've been faking the knee injury just because of his embarassment of losing." Clark75, you couldn't have made a more asinine statement. Parros not only missed the rest of the game with Toronto, but has missed the last three games as well. Do you really think that GM Brian Burke and HC Randy Carlyle would condone such an eloborate charade by Parros to save face? or are you simply bereft of all logic and common sense?

Hate to give it to Belak after the late sucker shot...but The Mustache didn't do much. Win = Belak

Okay fight - Wonder if the Toronto media will cry for a month about the late "sucker" punch or the knee to knee hit.

Paros looks terribly akward never protecting. So open got hit with several good shots. Boomer is a no holds barred fighter so stop wimpering about the end. Belak fights to end and is his M.O. so get used to it.

Surprisingly this was not close. Win Belak
I don't agree with the shot while down or sticking out his leg to start fight BUT that does'nt take away from his victory.

Hey Tuff duck 29 I probably shouldnt even waste my time talking to you based off your comments and your cap locks your probably 12 but you need to open your eyes and pull your head out of your DAD's ASS!!!! Just because your a Ducks fan doesnt mean they can't lose a fight.

win for belak, but he's definately one of the dirtiest fighters (outside of the broad street bitches of course). He hit orr with an elbow then started a fight, he hit parros with a knee , then starts a fight. Someone needs to cheap shot belak to keep him honest.(if that makes sense)

Oh and by the way CANADA, I was up in Toronto for the first time. Liked the beer, but what the f-ck were you thinking with this Don Cherry character!!!!! With all the great players/coaches etc you have up there you roll out this clown. I'd heard about about him before but never seen him - what the f-ck.

As everyone here know's Parros has probably the most respect for fighters in the nhl, And to see this JACKASS!!! first knee him, then give a cheap shot in the end. Wow what a sportsman Belak is.

I'll agree Belak was cheap, but hell that's Parros. If you wanna make sure you win against Parros you'd better make sure. The knee hit to start was cheap, but like I said it is Parros he is a bit of a beast.

I love how "buddha" explains why he took two points away from Belak for the leg hit and punch going down - how about for choreography and interpretation? Did he make up any ground there?

What is this the ISU?

No. It's two men making their living beating the crap out of each other...plain and simple. Sometimes it gets a bit rough out there...why don't you watch ice dancing instead if you're concerned about points.

Belak wins. Decent fight .

I'm calling it a crap fight considering the circumstances. Parros even admitted that he shouldn't have fought because he could've seriously damaged his knee. Belak has to instigate the fight by a dirty ass knee-on-knee hit. I guarantee Parros would've fought him without the cheap shot to get it going. But, would you expect any thing less from Belak? The guy is a complete JOHNSON. I guess if your win column doesn't show yourself in good standing, you have to do what you have to do to get a win. Very impressive. The Leafs got smoked.

Belak had the win until he hit Parros when he was down. What a loser. Typical Leaf. No class, no respect. Hey JFJ!!! Sundin and two 1st rounders for Steve Downie!! He's a Leaf in Flyer colors!!
