Hordy gets the win, easy. Stortini didn't want to fight, but eventually gave in after several invitations. I was at this game and saw the whole thing develop. Stort was feeling good enough after getting his first goal of the season and didn't want to engage, but that wasn't in Hordy's game plan so he had to make a showing. At the end of the fight it was Stort pulling down on Hordys jersey as hard as he could to end the fight. He got rocked early, but give him props for trying to compete against one of the NHL's toughest in Hordichuk.

Why in the hell did Edmonton let Laraque go? Did they let him go because they had this hidden jewel in the minors? It's getting to the point where I ask myself, do I feel like watching someone beat up on Stortini. Someone compared Stortini to Basil McRae, HAHAHAHA!!! I can't wait until Stortini's face starts looking like Basil's. Then, everything would make sense.

Does Stortini ever win a fight? Tucker could take him!! Better still, JFJ trade Toskala and a 1st rounder for Stortini. He has what it takes to be a Leaf!! HA

Stortini gets in his usual linesmen-aided cheap shots at the end. Hordichuk should be really steamed at them. If they are oging to break up the fight early they had better get both fighters wrapped up good, otherwise stay out of the way!

Wow, way to go Darcy! He gave away height and weight on this one but that's why he has been so successful in the bigs. MAILMAN and others, don't put Basil McRae down like that! He was a decent fighter. Remember Zack has not been in the big leagues very long. He has a lot to learn...if he makes it that long. All Darcy, sorry guys, not that close. I discard those 3 jabs by Zack when Darcy was laying on the ice. That's freakin' bus league stuff there.

Why in the world does anyone think Stortini is a fighter? He insists on dropping the gloves only to engage in a hugging. He only got in a couple after the takedown, Darcy was probably weirded out by the closeness and just wanted him off...like a dog on your leg!
