I wish Bell would open up more like he did a few years ago with Chicago.

Malone's fighting skills seem to be improving.

Liked the helmet toss by Bell, about the best thing he did in the fight.

WIN FOR MALONE.

BELL DIDN'T LOOK TOO GOOD. I'M NOT SURPRISED. I KNEW HE WASN'T THAT GREAT A FIGHTER, BUT MAN I DIDN'T THINK HE WAS THIS LOUSY.

THE LEAFS GOT HIM TO SCORE AND BE TOUGH. WELL HE CAN'T SCORE AND HE CAN'T FIGHT. HE'S AT LEAST TRYING I GUESS, BUT THEY ARE PAYING HIM $2 MILLION A YEAR FOR THIS.

I WISHED THE LEAFS HAD SIGNED ASHAM INSTEAD.

I'M SURE SAN JOSE WOULDN'T GIVE UP TOSKALA UNLESS THE LEAFS AGREED TO TAKE BELL AS WELL. OH WELL.

Georges' lessons obviously paying off for the Pens. Bell wins helmet toss but nothing else.

Looks like those off-season boxing lessons for Malone sure are paying off.

Win, Malone.

Bell ran from th fight. Got a couple goos ones in at the end but instead of making something of it, he tries to skate away.

After a few punches from both it looked like Malone wanted it more. Bell looked like he was just going through the motions, if you didn't see the game you would assume he was just trying to get on the scoresheet to prove he played. If Bell is looking to fill a new role he may want to consider being a grocery marker that separates the D from the Forwards. Not bad to see Malone stepping up in the off-season to learn a thing or two, with the team they have toughness on each line is hard to come by and I think after watching that Malkin may have been able to stand his ground with Bell....sorry!
Winner Malone.

Malone wins. Broken orbital bone for Bell is maybe why he didn't fare better. Malone is stepping up this year in the toughness dept.
