Darcy Tucker vs Jarkko Ruutu

That was worth the price of admission!

I hate both of these ugly, pests....but Ruutu looked good against the smaller apponent that he could control and get position on.

Ruutu rattled the little midget at the end using the reach to his advantage

PHENOMINAL!!!! I love these type fights where its just right after right after right...to bad that one announcer that calls it like that wasn't doing this game.

Does anyone know who that announcer is. I hear him call fights but always forget to remember who he is announcing for so then I could look him up!

tucker did a good job of blocking the punches with his face.

If you look closely at the fight again, you'll notice that tucker was punching ruutu's shoulder. he couldn't reach his head. ruutu clear winner and tucker was again, pummelled. good on him.

tucker is a typical maple loaf. so soft and soooo cuddly. that is why ruutu crowned his a$$ because tucker was what we all thought he was!!!

Kudos to Tucker for stepping up and fighting the larger opponent. Ruutu has at least 25lbs and 2" on him. All the Tucker haters (mental midgets)can rot...the guy has a heart bigger than most in the league and unlike the majority of the antagonists in the league he will drop the gloves against pretty much anyone. I was as surprised as the next guy to see Ruutu finally drop the gloves nevermind throw down and damn he can fight. I've watched the fight over and over and I would have to call it "very close" with a slight edge going to Ruutu.

As much as I don't like Ruutu- ok HATE is a better word, I've got to give him credit for this fight. He kicked Tucker's butt but both players did land blows. Ruutu's just did more damage.

WIN FOR RUUTU. THIS WAS A GREAT FIGHT. TUCKER HAD A SMALL CUT, BUT RUUTU HAD A WELT UNDER HIS RIGHT EYE AS WELL.

THIS YEAR TUCKER HAS FOUGHT CARCILLO, AVERY AND RUUTU. NOT BAD. THIS IS HIS WEIGHT CLASS. FOR THOSE THAT SAY HE PICKS HIS SPOTS, WELL WHO DO YOU EXPECT HIM TO FIGHT? ALL FIGHTERS INCLUDING ORR AND BRASHEAR PICK THEIR SPOTS. IF THEY ARE NOT READY THEY WOULD RATHER TURN DOWN THE INVITATION THAN LOSE.

THERE IS SO MUCH HATE FOR TUCKER. I'M NOT A HUGE FAN EITHER, BUT I DON'T GET IT. DID HE KILL SOMEONE'S GRANDMA AND SOMEONE FORGOT TO TELL ME? HE'S INTENSE AND HE'S PHYSICAL, BUT HE REALLY DOESN'T YAK TOO MUCH ANYMORE. I THINK A LOT OF GUYS HATE HIM, BUT THEY REALLY DON'T KNOW WHY.

INSTEAD OF PRAISING HIM FOR DROPPING THE GLOVES THERE'S A LOT OF "I LOVE SEEING HIM GET PUNCHED IN THE FACE". WHY?

Its nice to see tucker going after someone bigger than kovalev. it didnt work out to well for him though.

Ruutu with some NICE punches to his face, Ruutu dropped some bombs on him!

What a hell of a fight! Good middleweight scrap between these two. So much more entertaining when mid's scrap like this over any heavy scrap!

Terrific fight, love to see the Scandinavians getting into it!!!

Tucker is all mouth. Mine to see him get a fist in it once in awhile!
