ROY DIDN'T REALLY GET ANY GOOD SHOTS IN , COTE IS FIGHT PRETTY GOOD RIGHT NOW.

Ripper:
The problem with not having a heavyweight is: let's say you're a goon on the other team playing the flyers, you want to take a shot at a star player, you're more likely to do it with Riley Cote being your "enforcer" than Brashear. The whole idea for an enforcer is to intimidate and protect your players. If I take a shot at Briere, I won't mind getting a nuggie on my head from Cote. But I'd not take a run at Briere if Brashear is breathing down my neck.

roy got the first shot in, but once cote started landing them roy bear hugged him then tackled him, cote will swing back and forth like rockem sockem robots when guys like peters and roy dont bear hug him

Slight edge to Cote for the 3 solid connections right before the feared bear hug. Roy gives a good look at the camera after he takes the second blow.

I love how they both dropped the gloves so far away from the play. They knew they were gonna fight. The 2nd fight of the season between these two. Was at this game, much bettter in person, as always.

i was at this game and i am not being a homer but i gave the win to roy. he had a strong beginning and was a little more aggressive. i was kind of hoping that roy would've done better against a sub-par fighter like cote.

Close fight, I think Cote threw the punches that counted towards the end. I got to give the edge to Cote.

Roy landed more shots, but he wanted out early and opted for the takedown. Draw.

Cote throws his body into a Bolts defense men and Roy offers a challange. Cote accepts and they have a short quare off. Roy starts off the bout with 5 rights, 2 that land flush, two that hit shoulder and one to the helmet. Cote lands two lefts and Roy pulls him in close to switch hands. They trade lefts in tight, mostly catching helmet. Roy lands short upper cuts as Cote lands one over the top and they fall to the ice.

Definetly didnt see Cote buckle Roy's knees.

Draw. Neither one really rocked the other.
