Mike Commodore vs Colton Orr

Commodore turtled. win Orr easily.

Just two players doing their jobs. Commodore gets paid to challenge Orr because of the Cullen hit. Once they start to fight MC just wants to survive and holds on to CO's right arm for dear life. CO knows the deal and has no wish to beat MC up more than necessary.

didnt look like a dirty hit, but commodore had to come over to protect...orr showed class by not fighting back - i dont think he intended to injure cullen and was more concerned with cullen than commodore's weak attempt at justice

Started by typical Orr-Hollweg-Avery cheap head hunt. Arms and stick up while trying to wipe out smaller opponent. Stevens always hit with his shoulder not with his gloves and stick. Hit may not have been directly to the head but not because cheap shot Orr wasn't trying. Both gloves and stick up in the upper chest area. Be a friggin man and put your shoulder into the guy skating with his head down.

Ref felt like he had to call something just cause he saw cullen down.

Orr slaughtered Commodore. It is nice to see that the league rescinded the major that was given to him though. It was a hard, but clean, hit on Cullen. Thankfully neither men have any significant injuries, as Colton to had several cuts and a swollen left eye the next day.

Orr landed more punches and Commodore went down first, have to give it to Orr... plus that hit was crazy, I was at the game.

Not able to see much of the fight but Orr looked like he had total control.Orr wins, just for that open ice hit.

As a Canes fan, I hated to see that hit, but it was marginal at worst. It did seem like Cullen was a target all night before that. As for the fight, Commodore has just come off a broken finger that caused him to miss a few games. I'm sure he wouldn't be fighting unless circumstances demanded it, like this did. I do hope the Canes take this as a wake up call and do something about stepping up their physicality. They've been getting manhandled lately and it's becoming tough to watch.

Commodore doing what he has to do here. Hats off to him. Orr wins the uneventful fight, not much here though. What a hit on Cullen!

I tell you guys if Orr was a Flyer he would have gotten a couple games for that hit. The elbows were down but he had his hands too high. This kind of hit is unnecessary. Why kill a guy that ins't looking? Give him a chance to see it coming. I wasn't sad to see Orr beat Commodore though, don't like him much...

Clean hit-they just hit heads. I don't think he should be suspended at all.

They banged heads.And Cullen should keep his head up.Orr
could have hurt him much worse if he wanted too,but he is not
a headhunter.Couldn't really see the fight,CarrotTop did what he
had to,good for him.The Refs totally pussed out .I understand they
miss things sometimes but making up **** c'mon.Awful,Awful call.
Open ice hits will soon be non existent .Go back to 1 ref.
