Comments: Ference hits Crosby into the side boards while Crosby tries to play the puck around the boards. Ference shoves Crosby and they exchange a few gloved punches before dropping the gloves. They grab ahold of each other. Crosby gets Ference bent over and tries to pull his jersey over his head. Ference throws an overhand right and Crosby responds with two quick rights. Ference fires back with a right of his own and then throws another to the back of Crosby's helmet just before they fall to the ice. The linesmen jump on top of them and break things up. Ference skates to the penalty box with a cut on the top of his head. Other Penalties: Ference received a roughing.

crosby is gay Jarome Iginla would rape him. Right now the best player in the game is jarome iginla hands down. No one is better than Iginla when he is pissed off. vinny is crap in his own end of the ice and cosby has no physical presence, cant fight ,cant hit ,flops like a fish out of water and always needs some one to protect him. Sid the kid needs grow and stops diving before i will consider him the best.

Draw. A nothing lightweight fight. Only memorable because it was Crosby's first in the NHL.

Wtf? How can any one have Crosby as the winner? Well, I guess because he's Crosby. If that's how you win a fight, then I could go to the NHL and win a ton of fights. Too bad he didn't fight with someone who can fight though.

Wow guys. Kiss more Crosby ass please. Fighting with a visor...psh. Glad he dropped them tho. He is now a legit target. Maybe the refs will stop saving his ass and listening to his crying.

No reason? How about the well-known fact that he's a whiner and a flopper? Who outside of Pittsburgh is gonna disagree with that? And how can you say he proved he can hold his own? He has one fighting major, and that was it!! Besides, he got a head-start and just started flailing at first, put those two toe-to-toe and give Ference time to get his gloves off and you'll see Crosby get knocked the hell out and once he comes to, he'll whine and try to get an instigator penalty. One fight does not cancel out 193 games of whining

You can't give Crosby the wuss the win in this fight. Ference was prolly more surprised than anyone that the wuss actually dropped the gloves. And if u watch the video he was throwing with his glove on at first. So he managed to get a couple of cheap shots in, big deal... Ference had to wait and make sure Crosby was willing or he would've been public enemy number 1 for hitting a girl.
