Dec 16, 2007 Philadelphia Flyers Jason Smith
3pd 02:04 New Jersey Devils David Clarkson
Clarkson takes a couple of extra whacks at Antero Niittymaki after he freezes the puck. Smith takes exception and shoves Clarkson on top of Niittymaki. Clarkson drops his gloves and grabs Smith who drop his mitts after a brief moment as well. They go back and forth with rights to start things off. Clarkson gets his left hand free and they spin around. Clarkson throws two short lefts while Smith struggles to get free. Clarkson then wrestles Smith to the ice and gets in a left while Smith is down.

Who the hell voted a winner in this one. This is the definition of a draw

Neither fighter did anything to win the fight. Smith defended well and Clarkson just spun around as if on Saturday night fever.
I think a wet paper bag would have held up against either side.

Looked like most of Clarkson's bombs landed on Smiths shoulder or armpit. Yawner. I wouldn't give this to either guy. Clarkson may have landed a shot or 2, but Smith controlled the situation.

I cannot figure out what smith was doing at the end of the fight? Trying to grab the back of his jersey? Draw.

Edge Clarkson. For the last shot. Hard to tell by the angle if it landed but I will give him the benifit of the doubt. NICE TILT!!!!

No real punches connected from both players, but the take down goes to Clarkson, so i guess he gets the edge.

The fight was a draw, but Clarkson's last punch show's he's a no-ball loser.

A BIT OF A CHEAP SHOT BY CLARKSON AT THE END - BUT IN A FIGHT I GUESS THERE REALLY ISN'T ANY 'CHEAP SHOTS'

Smith lands a big right early before the two grapple and exchange a few punches that all appear to miss. Smith seems to be in control of the wrestling, despite allowing Clarkson to throw a haymaker uppercut which almost connects. The fight ends with a nifty Clarkson takedown when he realizes Smith was about to try to take him down. Clarkson throws a borderline cheap**** as they hit the ice. No winner here in an okay bout which never really got going.

pretty close bout, not much happening. Clarkson employing that boring style of the "extended arm hold away and swinging once every ten seconds". Cheap shot at the end by Clarkson when Smith was down on the ice.
