Eager was too much of a little girl to fight Laraque after giving him an elbow. Eager got away with it so Gary had something to say about it. The mitts were thrown down and Roberts started swinging away at Eager just about dominating this fight. And Roberts is plenty older than Eager, I wonder how it feels to get beaten up by a senior citizen. Sir Gary Roberts wins the bout easily.

Looks like Gary Roberts has been drinking lots of his "special" milkshakes to manhandle a young whippersnapper like Eager.

I'm reminded of a 43-year old (or so) Nolan Ryan opening a can of whoopass on young Robin Ventura a decade and a half or so ago. Eager showed a lot more in the AHL, I think. Philly has to be excited about the record compared to last year, but yikes! Pittsburgh needs to take the fight aggression and put it into their play; I can't believe how they've regressed this year.

The only head shot Eager landed was the elbow to Laraque. Threw some easliy dodged prayer haymakers & punched Roberts shoulder. I especially enjoyed Roberts Ali-moves before they got together & the punch to the back of the head at the end that bounced Eager's face off the ice. Damn do I hate Philly.
