Laraque is a beast. One punch and Godard was out.

Laraque gets the win as you would expect(does he ever lose?).

I don;t really think this was much of a fight, Godard is tough, there is no questions about that. But noone is as tough or tougher than Laraque unfortunately. I thought the punch to the back of Godards head after he slipped down from the ok hit was really cheap and he should be disciplined for it. There should be no punching to the back of the head to a guy who is down and no longer fighting back. Pretty weak for Georges to do that. I think Godard could do better than he did, but he didn't this time out.... I don;t think anyone in the league can beat him at this point anyway. You kind of know what to expect when you see his fights...

Laraque is so overrated. How could this be considered a win for him when all he did was jump on top of Godard? Why didn't he stand and fight? They did not really get a chance to fight.

I guess if you want to call this a win for BGL, Godard punches and misses and BGL hits him in the back of the head and Godard goes down....ok. How is this not a draw. A punch to the back of the head is a win nowadays huh. OK I guess we give anything that hits a win, now

Typical crap fight from Laraque. Notice he dropped his weight on Godard when they start to go down. Keep watching Laraque, he's honestly not as good as everyone thinks he is....MOST of his fights have him leaning on the other guy. He is just like a typical fan, he thinks if he gets the other guy to fall to the ice, he won.... Watch his last bout with Brashear.

Laroque is a monster, but I feel especially lately that he is actually overated. He is not the best at stopping when the other guy is down either. That is big with me, there will always be another time. He has dished out a lot of cheapshots over the years. LNAH I say...now those guys really go. They aren't worried about having a perfect hold of the others jersey.

Both guys missed big punches early before it went to the ice. Not giving Laraque the edge because he rabbit punched Godard a few times at the end

BGL in a pretty sh*t fight. I really like how Laraque always goes up to the other team's enforcer early in the first period and politely asks them if they want to go. They had him mic'd one night and it was like he was asking a girl if she wanted to leave a restaurant or something. I remember he said "good luck" too. It's just too easy for him. Godard is a tough guy, I respect him
