Keith Ballard vs Colby Armstrong

I don't think Armstrong was ready for this one. My vote goes to Ballard

not that dirty of a check. armstrong must agree. he hardly looked angry. ballard clearly won the fight.

Ballard may have had a slight edge in the fight but Colby made him mad enough to make him take 2 stupid penalties later in the 1st period.

Ballard just demonstrates how we were taught to throw a hipcheck as kids. Textbook. What does that assclown of a color guy want? Does he prefer dirty checks from behind, elbow to the head, run a guy with the stick, or maybe good, old-fashioned Craig Berube board? Hip to hip, that is how to play good, physical hockey. And Ballard in a clear decisive win in a below average bout.

Nice that they take the helmets off and Ballard actually DOES KNOW the rules of fighting like not hitting your opponent when he's face down on the ice. Win Ballard.

As headcharge mentioned it was a textbook hipcheck. The one poor simple announcer obviously never played the game as well as a few of the reviewers. ok fight, easy decision to Ballard

Hit was better than the fight.

Ballard dishes out some of the best hip checks in the game, and it's great to see he will back up his own hit. He was pursued to fight and he still had the class to take off the visor other players should take note.
