I give Thorburn credit for his courage in taking on the bigger guy, but he took a beating for it.

Refs jumped in before the fight was over again. At least this time they each took a fighter.

Sutton takes a run at Kovalchuk at the end of the first because Sutton is an idiot. Thorburn steps up next period like he should but isnt able to overcome Sutton's extra long reach. I would like to have seen Sutton throw some punches instead of those funny little chops on the back of the head. The 2 teams meet up again on Wednesday.

Thornburn took some rights and got out of throwing position. Sutton is pretty much a bum, but he won this one.
