all you ranger fans and other idiots that say orr dropped simon are bunch of morons, simon slipped on the stick thats why it was right under him when he fell, not one person has dropped simon in his entire career and he hasnt lost many if your tell me that colton orr who was in a close fight with cote dropped him you need to shut the fu** up and pull your head out of your a$$ and analyze the fight correctly, its probaly the same idiots that think georges laraque is the best fighter in the nhl, it just shows your mantality that you cant call an obvious draw, and what excuse do you have for simon dropping orr with one punch in pre season? wait let me guess he slipped, which would indicate why his helmet flew off his head after simon threw a left? this site is filled with jackasses who dont call it down the middle

Ok, Simon cannot do anything without his stick. He even backed down from Hollweg earlier in the game because he doesnt want whats coming to him. As far as him doing this for 10 years yada yada. Orr is young, and one of the toughest out there. Give him a few years and i gurantee that's how he will be known. Bottom line - Orr wins. and will continue to do it anytime he gets in there with Simon. Islanders always have excuses.

There was no stick slip. The anouncer said there was, but clearly the stick didnt even move. Nothing major landed, but Orr did land what he threw early, and Simon took a dive. Orr gets the win.

For all of you who went with the Islanders play-by-play and truly believe that Simon ''slipped on the stick'' you obviously didn't watch the fight. Please, any of you tell me when the stick moves on the ice... Oh yea, it doesn't until Simon was dropped. Orr wins easily connected with 3-4 good punches. You can actually tell that the refs were asking Simon if he was OK after the fight.

I AGREE WITH JEPHOCKEY WHEN HE STATED

"people say that simon fell from the stick but if you look closly the stick never moves from the position it was in and only moves after when they were wrestling on the ground. COLTON WINS"

The Stick Never Moves Simon Loses Colton Wins Clear Take Down

Nothing more than an uneventful draw here...Orr swinging that big right for a few seconds, does'nt connect and Simon slips. Nothing here...

Simon clearly lost his balance before things got going. Draw

Oh my god, there was a freaking stick right underneath Simon when he fell, give me a break

Simon isn't what he used to be but he's still tough. Orr is a tough cookie but I've seen him lose multiple times. This one goes to Orr.

Not much, even if Simon didn't slip it looked
like he was about to eat a big one,how convenient.
Took a page from Britney Brashear "OOOPs I slipped
again"just as I was going to take one in the face.At least
Orr attacks every time and not grab and turn his head.

Looked like it would have been a good fight. Why not wait until there is an actual fight before talkin' about a clear & decisive winner?

kinda a bad fight
if i had to pick a winner it would be orr (homer pick!) at he was trying to get revenge when 3 islanders ganged up on him(and the islanders got the powerplay?? orr threw a late hit on comrie, and got 4 minutes while simon punched him like 4 times and didnt get anything)
Orr made him point, wasnt a great fight, but orr got the win

Orr landed a few Simon did nothing. Not much of a fight

It might not have been a knockdown, that can be debated. A win for Orr cannot be debated.

Simon hardly landed a hit, short fight but Orr clearly won.
