BGL is still the top dog. Those who unfairly criticized him does not know that fighting is more than just throwing punches then fall on your face. It is about strength, balance and agility and it is not possible to always end it with a KO. It wasn''t like he just hugged. He did try to take McGratten head off or atleast knock is sideway but McGratten who is taller yet less interested in standing straight and exchange. BLG won but boring match and rematch is a must though I think McGratten injured his elbow.

Not much of a fight. Very dissapointing for these heavyweights!

Not even ok show by either.
MCgrattan landed two against Laraque 1, which was a weak one.
Laraque with the takedown(surprise!).
Edge McGrattan.

not much here. mcgrattan can hang with anyone, but laraque is still the strongest guy in the league. this one ends abruptly, a draw.

Bunny swings and misses...McGrattan countered well...winner on points...Laraque gets the takedown in mma. But, never landed a punch. McGrattan with the win.

I can't stand players that throw a few punches and then take you down.

Solid draw, no one throwing much-typical take down by Laraque at the end.

Mcgrattan landed the only good punches of the fight one which knocked Laraque off balance.

I think the laraque just wrestles critiques are getting fairly old. Laraque landed several short punches and was not punched once by McGratton. He regained his balance several times, and as they were going into the boards - where the fight was likely to stop as they stayed against the board - he spun and took McGratton down. But all of you will then say he doesn't fight that often and that's why he isn't HW champion. He has 5 fights this year, all of which are victories. Middle of the line fighters, guys like Chris Neil, aren't going to step up. He only fights the top guys and this results in less competion then a guy like Carcillo would be able to go against.

It was good to see these two super heayweights square off. Not a big fan of the featherweights inturupting a big bout like that, have some respect for big georges and McGrattan!

Okay. Laraque gets the win in a disappointing tilt. I've seen two fights between these two and both times Laraque seemed to "out-straight-arm " McGrattan, throwing him around a bit. I'd be surprised if McGrattan does much better in future fights between these two. No shame in losing to Laraque. That guy is straight out efficient. Anybody else on this board sick of reading the "queer" and "******" put-downs? Come on guys. Clean it up a little.
