Michal Handzus vs Chris Pronger

Handzus should have known better and I'm not talking about shotting after the final horn.

As has been stated-- Shoot after the whistle you can expect a response. Pronger did what needed to be done. I was at the game, and the Kings were dealing out alot of cheapies, but would'nt stand up to Parros, May and the boys. Should be a little action in Thursday's rematch (If the Kings don't punk out ! ). The Ducks are ready for ANYBODY, ANYTIME!!!

pronger acually by the rules should be suspended for that. its not a fight it was a cheap play. Watching the game he doesnt shot it too late. pronger sucks, he should go back to edmonton and knock more women up hes just a hick with gloves

This is WAY past the time, but just another "special" handling by the league. Old time hockey, yes, but old time hockey never included the stupid instigating rule either. Especially the one that states...

"A player or goalkeeper who is deemed to be the instigator of an altercation in the final five (5) minutes of regulation time or at anytime in overtime, shall automatically be suspended for one game."

Then of course it says...

"The Director of Hockey Operations will review every such incident and may rescind the suspension based on a number of criteria. The criteria for the review shall include, but not limited to, the score, previous incidents, etc."

Big surprise that Pronger got that special treatment AGAIN. The NHL has made a joke of itself when it comes to this goon.

This perfectly showcases how spineless, classless and cowardly the Ducks really are. Cheap!! Pronger sucks. He'd never fight a real enforcer. I'd love to see Boogaard knock his head off. ANA can eat sh1t!!!! They pull hair, double team, punch guys laying on the ice, fight & sucker punch skilled players etc. I couldn't hate a team more than ANA and Chris Pronger.

Is handzus brain dead? He's not in Pronger's league. Handzus should be fighting in perhaps the peewees, not the pros.

The shot was just before the buzzer. Pronger sucks. He'll towers over everyone he takes on because he's a bully. I'd like to see someone clock him big time. Talk about a dirty player. Pronger is the dirtiest there is.

Leave it to Pronger to go after a guy like Handzus. If it was somebody tougher he never would have done what he did. A slash, a spear maybe but no fight (if that's what you call that). I wish he wouldn't pick his spots like too many guys in this league do.
