I know Boll took a few shots when Nichol was down, but it looked like to me that Nichol was throwing as well, from his back.

This whole punching the guy when he's down sounds nice, but when you're in a fight pounding the hell out of someone because you're pissed off, human instinct isn't going to tell you "hey, he's vulnerable - stop punching." These guys are fighting to win the fight, not get your vote on hockeyfights.com so your whole "not punching when the man's down" principle is essentially irrelevant. You'd do the same...

I didn't like the cheap shots when nichol was down. Those may have been the only ones that landed in the fight

What was that crap at the beginning? Looked like Boll blindsided Nichol on the boards. Cheapshot! Nichol did just fine. To bad we don't have good video of the whole thing.

Easy Win for Boll. This looks like a big mismatch. But Nichol likes to drop the mitts at times so he's gonna be a mismatch often. Funny... This reminds me of when Theo Fleury as a Ranger used to get into scrums often with Zdeno Chara as an Islander. Fleury had to jump to throw double-glove punches to Chara's head. Hilarious.
