Nov 08, 2007 Philadelphia Flyers Riley Cote
1pd 15:08 New Jersey Devils Arron Asham
Comments: Right off of the faceoff they drop the gloves and square off near the blueline. They grab ahold of each other and immediately start going toe-to-toe with lefts. Asham goes down to a knee, but gets back up after a moment. They start going toe-to-toe with lefts once more until Asham finally lands one that sends Cote down to the ice. Asham falls on top of Cote and the linesmen jump in as well.

Asham got the best ones that landed. Fast fast fast. Great scrap by both. Asham by a nose.

Great Tilt! Many landed many thrown by both combatants but the tough native from Manitoba prevails. Asham in a close decision

Great old school fight. I got to see Riley when he played for the Dayton Bombers it's good to see him scrapping in the big time.

KD-win to Asham from great toe to toe fight.
Punches were thrown many in quite short time.

The quality of Asham's punches were not as good as cote and cote landed more. The last punch shouldn't be the only one thats judged.
win cote

Maybe the greatest fight by Asham ? Nice good slugfest between this two tough guys!

Off the face off Asham and Cote drop them and go into a long square off until Asham grabs on. Asham gets his right free while Cote goes with his left. Cote seems to get the better of the toe to toe, but once Asham gets his bearings he throws a few rights that put Cote down.

Cote smoked him! Asham just got in a lucky one there at the end!

riley cote clearly won this fight, asham landed a couple at the end , but cote landed most of the punches. thats why asham went off the ice so quick and grabbed atowel from the trainer , he was cut.
