Not a bad little scrap. I hate to give the fight to a guy named Ian but he landed some good shots. Nystrom was not to bad.

Win Ian

solid fight. Edge Nystrom, for not hitting Laperriere's helmet, and the cut.

I grew up watching Bobby. This means I'm officially old. I'll give a slight edge to his kid, I think he snuck one of those rights in to open the cut.

lappy landed the best shot. not bad for a 15 second scrap. nystrom showed some grit.

Good little slug-fest by these two!! They were pretty even on the exchange of punches...looks like Nystrom cut Lappy just over the left eye, but nothing serious. Draw.

Lappy was Ok here, but Nystrom was good.
Nystrom bloodied Lappy, so an easy pick to choice the winner.
Not very big shots were thrown by either, until it one by Nystrom.
Lappy got the takedown.
A narrow win to Nystrom.

When I was watching the game and the fight broke out I was a little worried for Nystrom when I saw who he was fighting but the kid held his own and took the decision with 3 good shots to Laperriere's dome at the end.

I'm giving the slight edge to Nystrom here, as it appears, for the most part, he holds off Lappy with his reach, not allowing any real damage while scoring a clean blow or two.

Nystrom wins by drawing blood.

Finally a lame that'll fight Lappy.
Bob's kid is tougher than head flame punk Phnuef.
At least he didn't back down and ended up winning the fight.

Not bad for a kid who has been up from the farm for 2 weeks, and in only his second NHL fight ever, (though the first one was pretty weak).

Sloppy but a quick punch-for-punch bout.

Good fight good fight. Laperriere instigated it and in my opinion won. You might say he lost because he got cut but no that was on the way to the ice.

Nystrom is a chip of the old block just like his old man, Bob
