Comments: The two bump while fighting for the puck and Hartnell pushes Lecavalier to the ice. Lecavalier jabs at him with his stick and Hartnell shoves him when he returns to his feet, causing them to drop the gloves. They grab ahold of each other and exchange rights. Hartnell throws three more rights while fighting to keep his balance. Lecavalier pushes him into the boards and Hartnell throws another right. Lecavalier wrestles Hartnell down to a knee and throws a couple of rights including an uppercut. Hartnell stands back up but goes down to a knee once again. Lecavalier gets in a few more just before the linesmen intervene. Other Penalties: Hartnell received a slashing.

When a 50-goal scorer fights it's the best. Just shows they won't take crap from anyone.

Ok maybe I was a little off but I just dont agree with stick swinging to start a fight. I never hacked someone from behind that I wanted to thrown down with. I just skate right up to them and get in thier face. They know the intent, no need to goad anyone with a cheap shot. Getin their face face and be a man about it.

Hartnell had a few. It didn't look like VInny landed more than 1.

Aww how cute...Vinny sttod up for himself. Good thing it was against someone ELSE who can't fight. I like Lacavalier, but is this really worthy of being in the fight log?

Loos like team are intimidated by the 50+ last year.Vinny needs to leave the gloves on and get payback by putting the puck in the net.I agree with everyone that said getting Vinny off the ice for 5 is a win now matter whether you lose the fight or not.Vinny has protection it seems that when they go after him none of them are on the ice.Time for Torts to send a message and when this crap happens get Vinny to skate away and then put Roy,Tarnasty(my wife's nick for him not mine) or Shane on the ice to beat the crap out of the offender.Good ole time hockey justice.

Close, but I give edge to Hartnell. He threw more, and looked like he landed more too. Vinny did not look like his heart was in it. He did throw a few, but mostly just hung on.
