David Koci vs Zdeno Chara

all that blood was coming from a whole in his forehead from a Chara punch not from his nose, Koci is a good up and coming brawler but he just ran into a monster called Zdeno Chara

somebody better teach koci how to fight at the nhl level before a true heavyweight does far more serious damage to him. can't question koci's toughness, but he is going to get smoked if he continues at his current pace. the hawks had better start looking for another enforcer because koci will get dropped should he choose to dance again. the ahl is a safer league for this guy anyway.

Um, don't know what you guys were watching... but Koci didn't land a single blow. I watched the game live. Trust me. Chara lost his balance after he connected square on with Koci's already busted (from belak) nose. Koci's shot never landed and hit Chara in the upper chest. The camera angle is very misleading though but Chara was not buckled from any hit. This scrap was pure domination by Chara. But I give Koci respect for not backing down!

Chara can kick anyone's ass. Koci gets props for staying in the fight, even after his nose was re-broken. Chara wanted to stop, but Koci wanted to keep going.

Big Bird nailed him with a very hard shot. Koci is entertainig and tough but he should be smart and heal before he has another scrap.

I would hate to see Koci become another Fridge.

Wow, does Chara slice Koci's face open good. Koci landed one good shot early on that made Chara's knees buckle but after that Chara lets his right hand fly. It's obvious which punch cut Koci open because the poor dude put his hand on his face right after and was pretty much ducking away for the rest of the fight.

First Belak, now Chara.. who wants to cut up Koci next?

I love how Koci just stands and throws, but when you fight like he does you are gonna take some too. David was cut vs Belak and Big Z simply reopens that wound - with some extreme prejudice.
I dont see how anyone can give a win to David simply for knocking Z down. Zdeno got up, then opened him up bad. If you cant even see for the blood streaming down your face. Brother, you lost.

Koci bled more than a girl at prom night (sorry).

Koci gets top marks for guts, but low marks because of his stupidity. Fighting a big guy right after sustaining a busted schnauz is dumb.....as is trying to fight Chara on the outside, unless you are 8 feet tall....another tip for Koci.....I recommend getting inside on a guy like Chara and going for "push and pull" uppercuts....this will only work if you are stronger than Chara.

Koci got one lucky shot, but why fight the behemoth that is Chara? Silly, really.

That's a draw. Very good fight with both skaters throwing bombs. Chara landed more shot, but Koci nearly knocked him out.

no huge win for chara.he only broke koci´s broken nose.both guys had 1 good punch(chara maybe 2).
