David Koci vs Zdeno Chara

Damn! Koci got ****ed up

Koci is fearless and has alot of guts to take on Chara after just having his nose busted up by Belak the previous game. Chara landed that one huge bomb that really hurt Koci, but he stayed in there and kept swinging. Great fight for both these guys, and damn that was alot of blood, a bit of a throwback to the old days when youd have at least one or two of these a game.

I'd love to see a rematch between these two when Koci isn't entering the fight with a busted up nose. Too bad that the earliest that would happen is next year.

/Chara just mutilated Koci's face to the point that the refs had step in and prevent Zdeno from performing further reconstuctive surgery on ice, in one word, the fight was..... "UGLY".

Koci gets his ass kicked big time. he embarrasses himself and needs to go back to the gym and learn how to fight the big boys. I thought he was an up and comer but he loses to belak and now this. Koci gets in one good shot otherwise he is a punching bag.

great fight, anybody who's fighting with broken nose is awesome. Chara was first on the knee.

This was a beautiful one...motivated me to beat up a few of my friends that night. Looked like Koci had just gotten done brushing his teeth with a chain saw after that one.

Some of you guys need to watch the fight again. Koci landed nothing the entire fight and totally whiffed on the "big one". Check out the "reverse angle" at about 1 minute 47 seconds it and you'll see that Koci completely missed on the one that "knocked Chara down".

Chara just lost balance from connecting a huge one right on Koci's beak. This fight was a massacre.

OK, props to Koci for having the guts to go toe to toe with that goon Chara (I mean ok he's 6'9 and could easily be the toughest guy to fight in the league because of his size). But Chara instigated the fight by pushing Koci repeatedly and he insisted on fighting him even after the scramble against the boards. Chara is a douche, he's like the playground bully who's not very good at fighting but because of his size advantage looks like a good fighter. Screw that freak.

Win goes to Chara, easily. Looks like Koci's helmet is what reopened his cut. I want to see Koci and Chara go at it again when Koci's nose has healed. If and when that happens, Chara is going down.
