Is Dion a Swede?

You can call a guy for wearing a visor when it is a straight up planned fight but dion got jumped in this case thus he wouldn't have had the opportunity to take off his helmate. Thus no point to calling this fight anything but a dion win.

I agree with Secuel 100%. This ****en guy likes to drop the mitts but never, and I mean never, has he shown any respect by removing his helmit/visor. At the end of the fight when the refs have sparated the two, Dion Warwick unbuckles his helmit. What a ***! I'm a Kings fan, but have always rooted for the Flames until the last couple years. It seems quite a few guys on the team like fighting with their protection. Have some respect for the game, other players, and more importantly yourself, AND TOSS THE ****EN GEAR!

get off that visor bs, phaneuf had no time to take it off cause veilleiux came after him, whats he suposed to do, hold up his hands and veilleuix will just stop and wait. he chose to fight him and phaneuf kicked his ass. dont like it, stop watching the flames. maybe veilleiux should fight someone that wont make his their bitch, like the sedins or someone in that category. get off it.

More crap. This is another great reason to dump the instigating penalty. Phaneuf hits Foy from behind, no penalty. Veilleux loses this fight but props for sticking up for your team mate. Phaneuf is another puss that fights with a visor. The linesmen have to let fighters go at it and stop getting in the way.

win phaneuf

You have to at least try to get it off...I have seen bouts where the guy attempts to get it off but can't as the other guy is punching away. Then its acceptable. In this case he made NO attempt so that is kinda bush.

I would like to say Phaneuf won but I can't ever give a fight to a guy who wears a visor. I think the visor should be banned from hockey unless you are injured. So I score this a draw because I don't think Veilleux wanted to punch plastic.

It is hard to take your helmet off when the other fighter received an instigator and misconduct.

Lame.....lots of hugging and a couple body punches. Boo. I've never liked Phaneuf.....always a chicken s***. Veilleux isn't even a fighter making the fight more pathetic.
Posted by cambec on Oct 27, 2007 at 11:44 AM agree disagree
Many guys have taken their visors off mid-fight....pathetic DP didn't make a single effort to remove his. Although, did it really matter or would it have changed the outcome? NO. SV is a hugger and was out matched the second his brain registered the less than bright notion to jump DP. Win to DP.

NOT CLOSE,AND TO THOSE OF YOU WHO KEEP HARPING ABOUT THE VISORS , ENOUGH ALREADY,ITS NOT LIKE THEY HAVE A GOALIE MASK ON ,ONE GOOD PUNCH KNOCKS THE HELMET OFF.
