WIN FOR GILL!
Hal Gill really isn't a fighter. He's only fought a few times in his whole carreer. He's huge and strong though. Horton couldn't do much against him. Horton threw a couple of punches and then tried to take Gill down. It didn't work. Gill got at least one really good uppercut in. Horton went down and covered up. Gill got one more in at the end. Horton was bleeding from the side of his head a bit when he got up.

Horton has alot of heart. I always have a big smile on my face when this kid drops em. Good to see the passion there. But nothing really happend here. So I'de call it a draw.

Gill controlled the fight, but Horton threw three decent punches at the start, but didn't much damage.
His second landed more shortly to the side of Gill's helmet.
The next did come too shortly.
Gill then taked over, but no punches, until Horton goes down to his knees.
He gets up.
Then does come an uppervut by Gill, but more a friendly one.
Then another similar one and Horton goes down.
A draw.

What's with the fgt grabbing of the leg to dump the guy?

Hal Gill is a big goof. He should have pounded Horton. Horton did the right thing by staying out of reach.

I hate these big retarded hockey players nowadays. Boogaard, Gill, Chara, they just look stupid on the ice. NHL needs bigger rinks. lol

Horton has balls tha size of beachballs.6" height difference.Usually that translates into about a 3-4" reach advantage. Not smart but gutsy on Horton's part.

I agree with the announcers that wasn't smart by Horton. Not many punches thrown but Gill owned him.

Mediocre fight. Even though Horton landed a few more punches, Gill wins by default since Horton turtled after realizing the size difference. That makes him too much of a coward in my books and undeserving of a win or draw. Plus Horton was bleeding after the fight and Gill was no worse for wear.

How anyone can say that Hal Gill won this fight is beyond me. He never threw a punch, not until the end at least. And he outweighs and towers over Horton. But, Horton started throwing at the beginning and never stopped until Gil pushed him to the ground. Dont give the decision to the bigger guy when its clear HE CANT FIGHT.

Good job, Horton. You take this one.
