Thrash 33, you're dumb. The hit was late and he left his feet.

If you're going to hit hard, you have to be willing to drop the gloves. That's the problem with Avery sometimes.

P.S. It is hilarious that you say "don't be biased by the commentators" when you write that "the Rangers had it coming." Who is the bias one?

Crap, crap and crap. I think that Holweg doesnīt know any better anyway, so i expected it to be a crap hugging. I would like to react on the Orr-Exelby scrap, which could have been more interesting, only if Exelby wasnīt a coward a proper loser. Shame to Exelby, the tackle he made on Prucha was deliberate and nothing but a cheeky effort that could have ended Pruchaīs season this year, but when he had Orr to drop his gloves against, he ****ed his pants. I donīt think it was smart to make excuses that to save a penalty for him. I hope Orr will get him later.

Poor Peter..one huge hit and one knee attack...Prucha will not have a nice memories on this game :D. Hollweg tried to protect his teammates..no matter that lost this fight!

Hollweg loses this fight as he tries to play hero, and defend Prucha's honor...not required, as McCarthy's hit wasn't malicious, and was more of a trip than an intentional knee to knee...Prucha skated away with no resultant pain or problems. McCarthy's attempted hip check allowed him the chance to throw some fists in Hollweg's face, and that's a great result any day of the week!!

I think a good job by McCarthy.
Lol he won Hollweg, who should to win this one, though.
Well, Hollweg is a big time punching bag, but an entertaining player.

As an outsider (not a rags or trash fan). The Hit was not that late, and i didnt think that part called for a pen, but Excellby left his feet and that is a charge. The refs missed that and the fact that he kinda was asking for a fight. he had a motion with his stick that i thought meant lets fight.

Seeing it on replay i would have given 4 mins to Orr for roughing. Holleweg would not have gotten a pen, what was the call anyway, did i miss something???

Excellby would have gotten 2 to for charging and 2 for unsportsmanlike.

crap fight, but at least theyre sticking up for prucha...that was the second cheap shot on him..... i just wish earlier in the game that b*tch exelby would have accepted orrs challenge and gotten the piss beat out of him just like orr dropped boulton to his knees last year

McCarthy delivers all the blows while Hollweg trys to tie him up to protect himself.

And yet no one's mentioned Straka's cross-check on Enstrom earlier in the game that knocked Enstrom out for the rest of the 2nd period. That's the hit that REALLY caused all of this, but if you just listen to the MSG homers you'd never know....
