I'm a big Boogaard fan, but give May credit, he's tough and doesn't back down from anyone. Given Boo's greater size and reach he landed more shots and clearly won the fight! Though I have to give kudos to May for locking out Boo from delivering any real damaging blows.

While Boogaard may have come out with the blood, it's only because he was the one throwing all the punches. May put up a good fight and played it smart by keeping his distance with the Boogieman. I'll give it to May for staying in there but I think that Boogaard won. One thing's for sure: mess with one of the Wild and Boogaard will come back to kick your A**!

Boogaard landed 7 hard body shots...I would hate to have Mays ribs the next day.

Nice body shoots for the boogieman. Derek Boogaard Top 3 Enforcer in league. don't mess with the state of hockeys best enforcer.

"We'll call this a draw Johnny..." did I get that right?! Don't know what game they were watching. May stood in there and tried to lock out Boogy, but there is no way that was a draw. For a much as I wanted to see May have it handed to him, it didn't. He still wasn't even close to making it a draw. I scored it a Not Close.

Many believe that Boogaard called May out but he did not say a word to May. May was the one that said "We are going to fight, I owe you one." Which you have to give credit to May. For Boogaard having the size advantage he did not do so well against May. Sure he landed a few minor punches and had May trying to end the fight at the end. However May clocked him in the face a couple times and had better connection drawing blood to Boogaard's face.

Tough from May to fight, but he must. He take the responsibility for the punch on Johnsson last year.

It's bas enough that May delivered the cheap shot of all cheap shots last year of Kim J, who BTW never fights, in the playoffs, but now it's time to pay the piper and he holds on like the bitch he is. He needs to pay for last year, and this semi-beating wasn't enough. I look forward to the next meeting between these two teams so Boogaard or Burns can give May the ass whooping he deserves!!!
