Date / Time Away / Home Team Away / Home Player
Oct 12, 2007 Boston Bruins Milan Lucic
1pd 12:47 Los Angeles Kings Raitis Ivanans
Lucic runs into Ivanans along the side boards. Ivanans takes exception and challenges Lucic, who decides to accept. They drop the gloves and grab ahold of each other. They go back and forth with rights to start the bout. Luic throws two more rights that come up short and Ivanans answers with an overhand right in between the shots. They go toe-to-toe with rights for a second with both of Ivanans punches landing. Ivanans misses over the top with a right and Lucic counters with short rights of his own. Lucic then wrestles Ivanans down to the ice and the linesmen are right there to break things up.

Definite win for Lucic. Only 19, and tossed Ivanans around and then jumped on him too. Why people would vote for Ivanans here is beyond me.
The only europeans that fight are the GIANTS, and they still lose.

Vancouver Giants (WHL) Lucic took two for the team but held his own.

This kid Lucic has a bright future not just as a fighter but as a player. Ivanens gets the duke because he landed a couple flush blows. Does anybody know if this kid is from Europe or was he raised in North America?

It's impressive that a 19 year old who is in the nhl because he can play hockey held his own against a knuckle head like Ivanins.

Gunslinger - Lucic was raised in Canada. He played junior in Vancouver, and played for the Canada against the Russians in September.
