| Comments: Allen bumps Clarkson in front of the Panthers' net, knocking his helmet off. Clarkson takes exception, drops his gloves, and grabs Allen. He then lets go to allow Clarkson to drop his stick and gloves. They latch on once again and Allen throws two quick rights. Clarkson comes back with a whipping right that grazes Allen. Clarkson then throws an uppercut, but loses his balance and falls to the ice. He gets back up and takes a right from Allen. Clarkson tries an uppercut once again and throws two overhand rights behind it. Allen switches hands and throws a left. Clarkson counters with a right but falls to the ice for a second time. He quickly returns to his feet and Allen throws a wild left. They exchange lefts just before Clarkson wrestles Allen down to the ice. | ||

He landed better punches.
Clarkson fought back well, he wasn't in trouble.
For that reason it looked like a narrow win to me.
