Oct 10, 2007 Phoenix Coyotes Daniel Carcillo

Comments: Behind the play the two drop the gloves and grab ahold of each other. Boll pumps away with some jersey-jabs before throwing an underhand right. Carcillo responds with an overhand right. They spin around and Boll gets in an uppercut. Carcillo throws a combination of jersey-jabs and a right and Boll returns fire with the same. Carcillo turns around and throws a wild right hook that is off the mark, knocking them off-balance and to the ice where the linesmen are awaiting their arrival.

Good solid draw with crazy punches thrown. That last right by Carcillo completely missed. Draw.

The hardest blow they both took is when they fell to the ice.

Carcillo shows a lot of scrap and knocks Boll to the ice with a roundhouse to end the bout.

Carcillo is simply not a good fighter. he's just asking for a beating and it's going to happen. Throws way to wildly and his wild swing in this fight did exactly nothing.

I called it a draw because neither really did much, a couple of solid jersey jabs by Boll and a couple of wild shots by the crappy Carcillo evened out.

This is typical of the Phoenix Coyotes, they really stink. I feel sorry for Wayne.

Gotta give the win to Boll here. Those uppercuts were nice and I like the big haymaker he tried at the end. Damn, I didn't know who to root for in this one. I love both these players. Wish there were more like 'em.

P.S. - What's with the people complaining about this style of fighting? Would you prefer and annoying hugfest? I though when there is distance between the fighters & arms are free to throw haymakes, there's not much more we can ask for. We forget these guys are on ice. You have to use one arm to grab for balance and the other to throw. THERE'S NO OTHER WAY TO DO IT... Then again I'm probably talkin to Computer Geek Spaz-Bots who never had a fight. SHUT UP & GIMME YOUR LUNCH MONEY!

Daniel Carcillo vs Jared Boll

These two run into each other behind the play, exchange a few shoves and drop the gloves. Boll starts off with a couple left jersey jabs, and they both start exchanging rights, including a couple right uppercuts by Boll, but doing no damage. Boll throws another right, while Carcillo responds, and they both lose their balance and fall to the ice. They both try to get up still trying to scrap, but the linesmen step in.
