3pd 15:52 Florida Panthers Nathan Horton
Horton rides Jay Pandolfo along the boards, with Pandolfo's head hitting the glass in between the player benches. Right off of the ensuing faceoff the Asham and Horton drop the gloves and grab ahold of each other at the blueline. Horton throws two rights while Asham gets himself situated. Horton grazes Asham with a straight right. Asham comes back with some rights to the helmet and body of Horton. Horton gets Asham bent over and gets in three rights. Asham answers with an overhand right. Horton responds with four answered rights, including an uppercut. Asham lands a short right and they wrestle up against the glass. They go back and forth with rights until Horton takes control and hammers Asham down to the ice.

I've never seen Horton fight too many times, so this was impressive. Not a good showing by Asham.

i love asham and i think he's one of the greatest middle (even mid-heavy based on some of his past (losing) opponents) weights in the game right now, but almost was a bit embarrassing. i felt better upon watching it a second time, however, to see that a majority of horton's punches missed while asham did get several of his in. horton might but horton did get asham to drop to his knees...

Big surprise for me! Asham fought with some heawies and was doing well and in this tilt he lost to inexperienced fighter like Horton. Win for Nathan Horton!
