Comments: Clarkson pushes Filip Kuba into his own goaltender, causing Gratton to skate over and grab him. They talk a bit before dropping the gloves. Gratton gets in a short right and then follows up with two more rights that Clarkson tries to duck away from. Clarkson then lands a right that knocks Gratton's helmet off. Gratton starts to lose his balance and Clarkson throws a right that misses just as Gratton slips and falls to the ice. Clarkson falls on top of him and the linesmen swiftly move in and separate them. Other Penalties: Clarkson received a hooking and roughing.

Clarkson easy. Gratton's stupid to try it with an eye injury but I guess he had to. Do yourselves a favour and listen to the homer call once again. 'Gratton didn't know what he was getting in to'. Gimme a break.

A good fight in my paper, even if this one was very short.
A few good punches were throwing.
Gratton landed one to the side of Clarkson's head.
A damaging one.
But Clarkson landed better one.
It hits flush to the mark, to the chin of Gratton.
Clarkson then taked him down.
So no a knockdown.
Edge Clarkson.

David Clarkson vs Chris Gratton

Clarkson shoves Kuba right in front of the Lightning net, and Gratton grabs ahold of Clarkson and they drop the gloves behind the net. Gratton starts off with a few rights. Clarkson responds to Gratton, with some solid rights of his own, knocking Gratton off balance, and falling to the ice. Quick fight, not much happened here.

Final minute of the game. Clarkson dumps Kuba into his own net. Gratton immediately comes to the aid of his teammate. Gratton begins by throwing 3 rights, the first one comes up short but the second two land. Clarkson then throws a bomb that knocks Gratton off balance. Clarkson lands another one as Gratton is falling to the ice.

Gratton needs to take some fighting lessons from his cousin Josh, but then again that wouldn't get him very far!! I suspect he had NO idea who he was up against in this little scrap. It's hard not to be biased when you you personally know a guy on the ice, but Clarky absolutely tagged Gratton, not once but two to three good rights. Just because you are 4 inches taller and a lot heavier Chris, doesn't mean it's going to be an easy fight, which is indicative of the way you carefully pick when you drop them...can't recall the last time I saw Gratton drop them with a guy his own size. This wasn't Pat Leahy, now was it??

that one shot took Gratton down like a ton of bricks, good win for Clarkson, even though he took a run at the goalie and waranted getting fought

gratton came in with his facemask on it went with the first right and down gratton went with the 2nd

credit to gratton for protecting his goalie though, that's the way the game should be played
