2pd 16:42 Toronto Maple Leafs Bates Battaglia
Another scrum ensues behind the Senators' net. Redden and Battaglia grab each other and drop the gloves. They struggle to get loose for a bit until Battaglia gets free and throws an inside uppercut that misses. Redden returns fire with a right. Redden throws three more rights before Battaglia answers with one of his own. They go back and forth with rights. They grapple and Redden throws two weak rights to Battaglia's back. Battaglia lands a snapping right and Redden bombs away with five unanswered rights. Redden then tries to get Battaglia's jersey over his head, but the linesmen are right there to step in and end the fight. Other Penalties: Mike Fisher received a hooking.

These uniforms are so flimsy these guys all look like Rob Ray pre-fightstrap rule, they're in pieces after 4 punches are thrown. These guys all going to look like Razor and Mc Sorley always did in the box, half undressed after a bout. How long before one guy gets a big advantage and really hurts another dude when either his jersey disintegrates and leaves nothing to hold on to or the other guy gets it immediately pulled over his bean leaving him blind?

Excellent fight by both, but particularly by Redden(!).
He landed a couple in the start, Battaglia got one in.
Redden then landed a serious one(best punch of the fight).
Battaglia landed a good uppercut.
He continued with straight right.
But then Redden replied with his flurry of rights.
Redden landed more.
W.Redden narrow win.

Wade Redden vs Bates Battaglia

A scrum develops behind the Senators' net, and these two come together and decide to have a go. Each combatant exchanges a couple rights, none doing any damage. Battaglia connects with a solid right, then Redden returns with a solid right, followed by a right uppercut. Redden throws another right, hitting Battaglia's helmet, and the linesmen move in shortly after. Redden skated away bleeding from his forehead, one of Battaglia's punches may caused it.

"Redden has protection from his visor. He should have a game misconduct.
winner Battaglia"

Are you serious...pull your head out of your rear and realize you CAN'T receive a game misconduct for wearing a visor. Not to mention that although a good scrap Redden CLEARLY had the cleanest of hits not to mention he never quit towards the end. No doubt Redden.

And no I'm not a Sens fan.

What the heck is going on with redden? Don't see him drop the gloves often. From my viewpoint he easily wins the fight with the four unanswered overhands at the end.
