patty finaly steped it up. not the best choice, but was something to prove he wants to play. patty almost lost it in the beginning, but wone the fight later by getting some well place hits in and dropping the guy to the ice

For a mellow Lady Byng candidate year in and year out Marleau held his ground. The fight was fairly close, but Marleau got the better punches.

The kid goaded the captain into it and had him out of his element. Close fight but taking Marleau off the ice for 5 minutes? No contest. McIver wins.

I was at this game but did not have the greatest view.
Great to see Marleau drop 'em regardless.

It did look like McIver got off to the faster start but I think Patrick rallied late...

IMO - it was too close to give an edge -

Draw

The other four fights were enjoyable as well / in review of the five total fights and the 3-1 Fin W - I give the edge to the Fins in both categories...

It was good to see Patty standing up for himself and not back down. McIver got some early shots in on Patty, but Patty took over and won.
