A lot of complaints about Downie not taking off his lid. But they way I saw it, Jessiman instigated and went after Downie. How much of an advantage did Jessiman want? I guess Downie should have taken off his lid, and given Jessiman the first punch. Why didn't Jessiman take off his lid first, I am sure that Downie would have taken off his then to someone that is 8" taller & 37 lbs. heavier.

Nice fight, both swingin from the start. Jesssiman left himself open the whole fight, poor head movement, wasnt tuckin in. But Downie looks fairly tough, wouldnt go over the top tho

WOW, this little guy Downie can throw. When the fight started, i'm thinkin, he's gonna have to jump in order to land punches. LOL, This fight was hilarious to me. And I'm a Ranger Fan... But, it's always nice to see a little guy drop a much bigger opponent. Reminds me of when Barnaby used to take on Chara.

im a ranger fan and jessiman sucks, he's a complete bust that will never play in the nhl. downie looks like a good fighter. jessiman loses, and now is sent down to ahl where he'll be lucky to stick with the wolfpack
