Good to see someone get ahold of Phaneuf, a cheap shot artist who hides behind a visor. Good job Lappy.

If Tyler Arnason weren't so fat and lazy, he could have gotten out of the way of that hit. There is no way that is a charge. If they get a good square off, this fight could have been better. I don't like any of them, so the best thing is if they pound on each other for a while.

Good to see Phaneuf get pounded, no way he could run away with his tail between his leg's this time. Waiting for the other guy to drop his glove's then turning away proves he's a BITCH

Ian wins. Phaneuf got what he deserved.

I wish Phaneuf would get his ass kicked. He is an average fighter with above average ability to defend and avoid a pummeling. He is a star on the rise and it pains me to see him do some of the cheaper stuff. He could be a tough, awesome two-way player who but I have seen too much of his stickwork and agitator crap on Gaborik to know differently. Somebody is going to knock his head off. He could be the next Orr or Bourque, but is choosing to go the Avery route.

Only one person on this page has any idea about the game of hockey or dion phaneuf. I would really like to try the coke that all you guys must be sniffing because i have no idea how u can say he got his ass beat. For starters, what the **** is arnason doing cutting across the middle with his head down? Phaneuf could have MURDERED him but he let up soooo much and how that was a charge when he coasted in is beyond me. Lappy is a plug, great that he sticks up for his teammates but at least sqaure off with the guy. Phaneuf will back down from no one and Lappy knows sqauring off equal two broken orbital bones against someone like phanuef. He is the biggest cleanest hitter in the game right now and defencemen of the future. You guys are all a few fries short of a happy meal

YOU KNOW WHAT IS REALLY FUNNY DION IS AND ALWAYS HAS BEEN UNDER 200LBS I WENT BOWLING WITH The FLAMES AND ASKED HIM STRAIT UP AND HE SAID JUST UNDER 200 THAT WAS 3 MONTHS AGO. JUST BECAUSE HES ONE OF THE BEST HITERS IN THE GAME DOES NOT MEAN HES 30LBS LARGER THAN EVERY ONE HE HITS HE IS THE SAME WHEIGHT AS LAPPER LOL STUPID AMERICAN LOLit is even has it on this web site you people have no clue about hockey . Dion was tied up Ian is a graber lame fight dion destroys another avalanche with a nice hit oh and dion owned ian the last time they went and that was after he crushed brett Mclean if Dion had time to toss the helmet and slide the elbow pads up lappy would get tucked in the hard way. All laperriere does is attack people when they dont feel like fighting and then hug them to death, no real shots landed. American fans are hope less only a loser would think that was a good fight, shows you dont even know what a real fight is. basketball is a better sport for weak spares like you, it was a nothing fight, just because it was the first one you have ever see does not mean if was good. makes me sick
