Apr 03, 2007 Edmonton Oilers Zack Stortini
3pd 05:55 Minnesota Wild Derek Boogaard
Comments: Right off of the faceoff they drop the gloves and grab ahold of each other at center ice. They grapple in-tight and Stortini throws two short lefts to the side of Boogaard's head. They take each other's helmets off and continue to wrestle around in close quarters. Stortini throws an overhand right and Boogaard responds with a right to the back of a bent over Stortini's head. Boogaard gets in an uppercut followed by two more rights to a still bent over Stortini. Stortini attempts a single-leg takedown on Boogaard, but Boogaard is able to keep his balance. Stortini connects with a right just before he loses his balance and falls to the ice. Boogaard goes down with him and gets in a right just as the linesmen are jumping on top of the two.

Has Sortini won a fight yet? Why does he bother? Boogey could have killed him!

Stortini should be ashamed of himself for such a ***** move, if you don't want to go, don't drop the gloves!

An obvious win for Boogaard. I can't believe he didn't fall when Stortini grabed his leg! Boogaard usually has issues with his balance. Defenetly fun to watch.

Booger won this one. Stortini didn't look like he wanted this one real bad.

Wish Boo would have connected with the uppercut...I can't even give Stortini credit for "trying" in this one- very weak move to hug and grab the leg and then run his mouth at the end. I know I'm not the only one who wanted another round before the end of the game. If you are going to go- then have some pride-grow a pair and square up. No contest in this one.

CRAP FIGHT, WHY EVEN BOTHER!

Again, being at this game was amazing. These Wild guys know how to fight. Stortini was trying his best not to get his ass kicked by Boogaard, and he showed that by hugging on him. But when Boogie kicked him free, you knew it was over. Even from as far away as I was, you could feel the power behind Boogie's uppercuts. That man is a powerhouse.

How gay is Stortini for the single leg takedown attempt? I'd say VERY!

Nice wrestling move by Stortini

Just another example of how bad the Oiler are this year. Stortini will not be in the NHL next year!

Apparently, Stortini likes Boogaard's leg. All he does is hold on to it.

Stortini did not fake the take down, he was just not strong enough to take Boogaard down. He never wanted to fight, he was either hanging on or bending over.

Was this a gay porn video or a hockey fight? Im confused.

Stortini bit off more than he could chew with this one. I think his attempt at the one legged take down shows he realized after it was too late. Boogaard is still the man in the West.
