This fight was a draw.

As for Iginla wearing a visor - I remember Mitchell wearing a full cage in the playoffs when he played for the Wild and he still played his patent cheap shot style.

Mitchell picked the fight (he came over and crosscheked Iginla.) If you don't want to fight guys with visors don't call them on.

Also, I would like to call out Mitchell for turtling after Iginla got his jersey over his head. Mitchell has always been a no class player and he showed it once again.

Good job, Iggy. It just goes to show that you don't have to be a dummy fourth-liner to drop 'em and put up a good bout.

Who cares if he wears a visor? If it really bothered Mitchell, he should've hugged Iggy until the helmet came off, or waited until play started to tell Iggy to take his off.

It's okay to throw 'em when your opponent's down, unless you're a HW. It isn't their jobs to fight, so of course it is going to be emotion-based.

(No Calgary homer here, either)

There is now way you can say Iginla won this fight the only blows that he landed where after Willie lost his balance.
Props to Willie for landed blows even though Iginla had a visor on.
Iginla is one of the dirtiest guys on the ice (second to Kasparaitis). Like to see him take on Mcclaren. As if .....Iglinla is starting to act like Brashear. Must be genetics

There are no unfair punches in a hockey fight. When both guys drop the gloves they have all ready signed the waiver form and it's off to the races. P****s argue over unfair and unecessary punches. especially in the NHL. If you can't take the hitting and higher volocity and physicallity, then get out of the league and back into the safe haven of the AHL and other minor leagues. This was a draw, but I voted for Iginla because I noticed that a number of idiots voted for Mitchell and he didn't win. I don't want this fight to have Mitchell as the clear winner when people view the details.

By the way Iginla is one of the greatest and most entertaining players in the league. I bet if he was a Canuck you would love him, just like Bertuzzi. But now the Wings have Bertuzzi so you probably hate him too, right?

Iginla is a dog! Punching him while he's down on the ice unable to fight back! That **** is weak! I just hope the brabarian takes him down soon

lots of good shots by both. but iginla lands some cheap ones in --when the puss ref just stands back as a spectator.
iginla one tough dude..so the fact that mitchell wins-is impressive.

by the way teemu san--so if its ok that a flame cheap shots---why bother mentioning the other stuff...you should decide what is right and wrong and stick by it.
make that decision and stick by it--otherwise the only idiot is...you.

and "ted' you are an asswipe. an anal coin....

crazyleger--you are also one stupid dude, You call hitting a guy when he is down and jersey over his head "questionable" but....when a is on his feet with the jersey over his head--terrible. Wow--how do you explain that.

Jersey over head is 'questionable ' to punch when you are down but clearly b.s. when you are standing....you are out of it.
