Comments: Gratton takes a run at Murray near the benches and falls to the ice. Gratton gets back to his feet and shoves Murray just before the two grab ahold of each other and drop the gloves. They end up leaning on the San Jose bench with Gratton throwing a short right that hits the side of Murray's helmet. Murray wraps his left arm around the back of Gratton's head and then proceeds to throw five straight rights with a few of them connecting. Gratton lands a right towards the end of the flurry and they skate away from the boards. Gratton throws two overhand rights to the back of Murray's helmet. Murray gets turned around, but quickly reverses that position and takes Gratton's helmet off in the process. Gratton gets Murray's helmet off and they go back and forth with a couple of short rights while they grapple. Murray throws two more rights and Gratton responds with four rights to the back of Murray's head while Murray pushes Gratton into the boards. They continue to exchange overhand rights and body shots while leaning over the benches until the linesmen finally decide to intervene and the end the fight. Other Penalties: Gratton received a cross checking.

Murray on points. Both these guys are pretty tough customers.

Seems as "Doug", "Douglas", or what ever his mommy prefers has alot of fans. I'm afraid that I'm not one of them. Now, if he fought Josh this well without the visor on, I could be a big fan. However, gentlemen, maybe if this guy wants to mix it, he shouldn't be such a p***y and lose the protection. When a guy is willing to eat a punch from the likes of JOSH GRATTON, and the only reason is because the visor will block most of the punches or possibly break Josh's hand, that's f***en pathetic. I'm not a Phoenix fan, but a fighting fan. Gratton is a tough, stand-up guy, whom I'm sure would have taken off his helmit if Murray accomodated him. He must be getting tough guy tips from Kyle McLaren, another tough guy with a visor. This kind of **** almost makes me want to give Josh the win. NO DECISION! That is what's missing from the choices of picking from the "winner" category. No decision- due to pussified coward with visor. Maybe "Jaro" Jagr, that's what his mommy likes to call him, should put on a full cage and become a tough guy too. I'm sure some people on this page will vote for him.

Josh Gratton is one of the best and toughest fighters pound for pound in the league.
The fact that Murray dominated --shows a lot. He outmuscled him--out punched him and showed better technique.

NIce job by Murray.

Murray gets the win or gets points, are you kidding????
They had eachother in the clinch most of the scuffle, how do you pick a winner? Do you take a quick shot of booze, then type your phucked up comments?

This fight proves it, San Jose has THE WORST play by play announcer in the history of televised hockey. Marty Mc Sellout is making a strong case for worst color guy, a title held for years by Brian Heyward in Anaheim. Despite the crap audio, this was a good fight. Gratton's early right against the boards almost knocked Murray down, but Murray kept on with the punches. Draw, but if I had to pick a winner Murray did do a bit more in my book.
