Win: Boogaard. King really wanted to fight him, but Boogaard edged him out in a very long and spirited bout. Props to King though. He's only a rookie and he still hing in there with Derek Boogaard, who is a freaking monster. These two have fought before, and their first fight was a draw, so King's a good fighter. At 22 years old, he can still match up with Boogey. But Boogaard just got the best of him here and he landed several punches. The Blues team was fed up with Boogy, so King challenged him. The Minnesota announcers are the biggest homers ever, and they need to shut the heck up. They said, "King asked for this fight, and Boogy's really handing it to him. King just needs to go down, he doesn't have a chance. King doesn't really want to be here. Boogaard will put him down soon." Wow, King doesn't back down from anyone, and even if he is losing, he will never go down just to end it. He fights 'till the end, and that's what I like about him. He's a very good fighter, and he deserved more respect than what the Wild announcers were saying about him. King wasn't going to go down. He wasn't getting killed or anything, he just lost. This was his first loss of the year, and he shouldn't be ashamed of losing to Boogaard. A TON of people lose to Boogaard, he's one of the toughest in the league. But King still did OK. His first loss. I'd say he's still a top 10 fighter. Boogaard finally got in a fight since January 26th. He needs to fight more, he's very entertaining to watch.
And for those of you saying King was scared to fight him, watch the ****ing fight again you idiots. KING was the one who CHALLENGED BOOGY. King REALLY wanted to fight him, and it was Boogaard who looked tentitive to drop his gloves. You guys are idiots. King isn't afraid to fight anyone. He beat Boogaard in the preseason too. Boogaard homers.
