Date / Time Away / Home Team Away / Home Player
Mar 21, 2007 Philadelphia Flyers Ben Eager
1pd 08:00 New York Rangers Colton Orr
Comments: Eager knocks Daniel Girardi down with an open-ice hit, causing Orr to take exception and go after Eager. They drop the gloves and grab ahold of each other next to the benches. Orr connects with three straight rights to the side of Eager's helmet. Eager is able to tie Orr up for a moment, but Orr quickly gets free and throws a right that comes up short just before he goes down to his knees. Orr gets back up and Eager gets off three consecutive rights. Eager gets Orr turned around and Orr falls to the ice. Eager gets in a right while they are falling, but the linesmen are right there to grab them and prevent anything else from happening. Eager gets back up to his feet and exchanges words with the Rangers' bench and Orr as well while skating to the penalty box. Eager also has a bloody lip and mouth.

Colton lands 4 and takes the lead Eager lands one then some wrestling, which Orr loses his balance and while down Eager throws a late punch. Close fight with more landed by Orr and Eager getting bloodied up... edge Orr

I call this a draw although i can see how anyone would score it for Eager......however, it was a pretty lame and evenly matched fight and Ben was full of piss and vinegar considering the circumstances and Colton was nursing a bruised fist

I pains me to do it, but I voted for Eager. Weak fight.

No offense, If Eager is a punk, then I'd rather be a punk than that piece of sh:t Hollweg. Ranger fans have no room to talk. Hollweg has gotten everything he 's deserved. I'm just sorry that Simon had to step up and take care of it. I also wish some of his teeth came out. Eager is doing some checking and alot more cleaner than Hollweg. I wonder if Hollweg would have gone with Simon? PUNK! Hollweg is a punk. Get your facts straight

How could anyone give this fight to eager. For those of you who didnt watch the video, Eager landed maybe 2 glancing blows. Orr actually landed 3-4 punches flush to start the fight.

YOu people see fall and you think they lose. Eager was wrestling orr, cause he knew he would end up in the hospital too if orr was allowed fight, instead of playing wwf.

looks like the majority of voting on here is out of hatred against a fighter. this is either a draw or a slight decision to Eager. it's not a very good fight because they never got "square", and thus most punches were to the side/back of heads. if these two aren't heavyweights in this NO HIT LEAGUE, then their must only be about 3 in the whole league. i could only dream of having one of these guys on the pitiful figure skating red wings. and oh yeah, the wings will be knocked out in the first round, AGAIN.

Ben Eager won that one, but it was Colton's second fight of the period and he was probably holding back since he just knocked a guy out. I would say not to put this one in the books yet, I think there will be a rematch somewhere down the road.

Not much there, no solid punches, Eager with the takedown. A draw.

As a Ranger fan I have to say that Eager is not a punk. He plays a tough hard physical game. You gotta love that. This fight was somewhat boring after seeing the earlier fight with Fedoruk getting KO'd. Draw.

Orr got in some shots at the beginning, they tied up, and Eager went for the takedown. I don't think Eager landed any.
