Date / Time Away / Home Team Away / Home Player
Mar 21, 2007 Philadelphia Flyers Todd Fedoruk
1pd 00:21 New York Rangers Colton Orr
Comments: Right off of the faceoff they drop the gloves and immediately grab ahold of each other near the side boards with Orr throwing a right while they are locking horns. They exchange simulataneous rights and Orr gets in an overhand right after that. They wrestle around for a short while until Orr gets loose and throws two more rights. Orr then winds up and connects with a straight right that puts Fedoruk to sleep right away. Fedoruk falls motionless to the ice and Orr is quickly escorted to the penalty box. One of the linesman waves for doctors to come out onto the ice. Fedoruk stays down on the ice for a good five minutes and is eventually lifted onto a stretcher with a neck brace and taken to the back.

I think those postings for Fedoruk were a joke.

I've read other reviews saying how Orr is not in the top tier of heavyweights. I want to remind everybody; he is only 24 years old. He has a tremendous right. In a few years, he'll be close to 240 lbs. and be even stronger and better balanced. He'll be a monster in a few years.

I just hope that the Rangers don't trade him like they did Eric Cairns. Cairns was a big kid who had **** balance and fell a lot when he fought. After the Rangers traded him, he became probably the dominant heavyweight of the league with the Islanders. The Rangers need to hold onto Orr, and he'll be another Cairns in a few years.

What the hell is wrong with Fedoruk? He has NO business fighting anyone anymore. You'd think he would have learned after having his face broken by Derek Boogaard, but he decides to go toe-to-toe with Colton Orr, quite possibly the best fighter in the NHL. Geesh.

Hey Philly you have been done since October. Give the minor leaguers a chance to prove themselves. This is what happens when you leave worthless goons in the lineup when you know payback is coming!! How is Bobby Clarke?? Oh. that's right, he is gone too!!! "Mama Said knock you out"!! Get well Fedoruk. I like how you admit "I guess I got my bell wrung." Well I guess you did.

Last time NYR played the Flyers Orr didn't dress and Fedoruk ran at the NYR skill players, Jagr and Prucha. Orr did his job and held Fedoruk accountable for his actions. Ferdoruk has two plates in his face from a past scrap and has not been the same since. I hope he is okay but i'm glad Orr stood up to Fedourk for last time.

And i'm not saying this cause i'm a homer, but you have to admit Orr is climbing up the ranks of a heavyweight. He might be top 10 in the NHL now.

The Doc should have put some brains in his head in addition to those
steel plates.Hang em' up already. One more of those he'll be spending
his days playing with crayons and eating paste.Orr may not be a top five
fighter but has a top three punch.

Not much more you can say about this one. If you noticed, Fedoruk lands a pretty good right hand early in the fight but Orr dosn't blink, a clear indication of his cast iron jaw. Another thing I noticed about Orr is he's not out there fighting for points. He'll take a few on the chin to land the big one. He does have some issues with balance and stature but when he's able to land that big sledghammer it's "ZZZZZZZZ" time.....just ask Fedoruk.
