Mar 21, 2007 Philadelphia Flyers Todd Fedoruk
1pd 00:21 New York Rangers Colton Orr
Comments: Right off of the faceoff they drop the gloves and immediately grab ahold of each other near the side boards with Orr throwing a right while they are locking horns. They exchange simulataneous rights and Orr gets in an overhand right after that. They wrestle around for a short while until Orr gets loose and throws two more rights. Orr then winds up and connects with a straight right that puts Fedoruk to sleep right away. Fedoruk falls motionless to the ice and Orr is quickly escorted to the penalty box. One of the linesman waves for doctors to come out onto the ice. Fedoruk stays down on the ice for a good five minutes and is eventually lifted onto a stretcher with a neck brace and taken to the back.

How in the h*ll does Fedoruk have any votes?

I wonder if he'll keep trying to get his a$$ kicked in the future.

Orr's moving up the tough guy ladder. Still has a ways to go to catch Laroque and Brashear but has done a good job handling cheap shot artists like Fedoruk and Jansenn. Great job by the class MSG announcer team.

I feel sorry for Fedoruk, but he opened his stance and BANG - full fatality hit... I believe Fedoruk don't know what happened to him, just looked up, and than just the memory fragments - lights off, dark, whoooo sound in head, lights on, the refs and docs around him and than just every detail of the roof of stadium...

Devestating punch to Fedoruk's jaw. Good to see Orr hold up immediately as Fedoruk dropped unconsciously to the ice.

How could anyone vote Fedoruk the winner. Good lord.

I hope in the next game, the Flyers play Ben Eager, Martin Grenier, Riley Cote, Darrin Reid, and Triston Grant. That will shut up all the Rangers fans.

Someone has got to save this kid from himself. The GD Flyers have no business putting this kid on the ice with 2 plates in his face on a team with no hope for the playoffs. This has to stop before the fridge gets himself killed.

Ranks right up there with Joey Kocur's KO of Jim Kyte and Ryan Vandenbussche's KO of Nick Kypreos. My only question. Who are the 4.5% of the people who thought Fedoruk won?

Fedoruk won in a big way. Fate exposed him for what he really is: A fatality waiting to happen. Now, the Flyers can let him loose to pursue other interests besides hockey. Boogard basically ended his career. Burke traded him to Philly knowing he would never be the same. If the Flyers don't let him go, the NHL should step in and force him to retire. If he comes back and gets hurt or killed, that could be an event that the NHL will never recover from.

Fedoruk won in a big way.
