Neither player did any damage except run out of gas. Looked like a draw to my eyes.

Give it to Belak for landing more, and for actually trying. But I doubt Janssens feels like he "got taught a lesson" from this one.

Belak for sure. He connected with at least 4 or 5 bombs, maybe to the side of the head/face, but he still connected. Janssen only had about 2 or 3 that grazed Belak. The best was Belaks last shot that made him lose his balance and collapse. Way to go Belak. I didn't think this fight would happen due to the playoff race being so close. Got the boys pumped though.

hats off to Belak,i guess he won the fight but used alot of energy swinging wildly and was lucky enuff to stay on his feet till the end,he better learn to throw some lefts if the righs don`t connect or he`ll be in trouble with other heavy weights!!

Old time hockey at it's best. There is nothing more noble than seeking retribution for your teammate and credit to Janssen for standing up for his deed. This is how the game is policed, something that non-Canadians can't understand.........great scrap by two of the games warriors and good job by the officials letting it go!

Belak, won! What ever happened when two guys would go toe to toe and actually fought. This is crazy, all they do now and is hang on, keep their faces out of arms length and go araound in circles. I wish I could see this squirt Janssen fight someone like Behn Wilson or Bob Nystrom in their prime...

I've seen Belak do a lot better. Throws a lot of air shots. Janssen's game plan seems simple. Let the other guy punch himself out.

belak kicked some ass right there.

Good scrap.

I wish Janssen would have gotten knocked out, or jumped. But the nhl wont let it happen anymore.

No doubt Belak won the first 2 minutes of this 3 minute fight.
The last minute--Jannsen gets slight edge--but its not as though Belak didnt also get in some at the end. So on that basis--you have to give the whole fight to Belak. Certainly if I had to guess who was huring more at the end--it would be Jannsen.

One of the better fights of the year, even though Cam did his damn figure skating in circles for the first minute. Obviously Belak won the first 3/4 of the fight and Cam won the end, overall Belak gets the win. Neither landed any real haymakers, which like many other people wrote, is because of this damn circle jerk that seems to be happening in many fights this year. Either way, I am a wings fan and it's nice to see their are still "heavyweights" playing in the league. I thought they were outlawed in 2003.
