Cam Janssen vs Wade Belak

Give this one to Belak . Janssen hung in there and got some shots in at the end but so did Belak. Belak was way busier and connected more often.

typical cam...waits waits waits...just this time he never really got hit throughout....landed the better shots and controlled the end of the fight...shame he didnt go with tucker too

Belak showed that he is not afraid to take on Janssen, and whether he wins or loses, I respect someone willing to take on Janssen.

Janssen made it close near the end, but I still give the edge to Belak. Belak probably landed about 8 out of 100 punches whereas Janssen landed about 5 out of 10.

I am not a leafs nor a devils fan and this fight was ok not more, there have been many better fights this year I can't beleive people going crazy over it.
Belak had the edge early and janssen had the edge late. Size difference should have made a bigger difference in this fight but i think janssen is a better fighter than belak, if they were the same size belak would of got killed. Where was big mouth tucker hiding, he's pretty good at going after guys smaller than him athough janssen isn't that much bigger.

Guaranteed this one is on Don Cherry's next Rock 'Em Sock 'Em DVD Great fight and as the commentator said, Janssen knew it was coming and that in a way he deserved whatever he got. Would've liked to see Belak piss pound him a bit better than he did but a guy Janssen's size and strength you cant string him out and pump him.

Wade Belak beat Cam Janssen in tis bout for sure. He threw more, landed more, and he outlasted Janssen. Not the best fight I've seen but not the worst either.

Pretty good bout, Belak landed majority of punches..definitely threw more. Janssen landed most of his near the end when belak was tired out. Nice to see Janssen answer the bell, he knew it was coming!

Honestly i cannot believe some of the posts on here. How the f*ck can u say that Jannsen even deserved a draw??? Come on now, what fight were u watching. Jannsen is a straight up punk and took a beating. To all you fools that think Jannsen got the decision u need to get your head checked, maybe your vision too...or better yet stop being a stupid American!!!!!!

Being a leafs fan, I was excited to see this one, and from what I had heard, thought I was about to see a classic. Not the case. Alot of ducking and was only a long fight because of that. A few good blows, but nothing great...still would have loved to have been there...the crowd sounded pumped!!

it was a great fight. Janssen deserved it for that bad hit on Kaberle. And what does he get? 3 games. And Kaberle is out for 8 games and counting. But i guess it's okay. I mean Janssen never plays so it doesnt matter if he's on the bench watching the game or at home on the couch watching the game.

Belak was wasting a lot of energy throwing punches that weren't even landing, but he did get a few good one's in. He was tiring out at the end when Janssen was just getting going. It's a good thing it ended when it did or else Belak would of been in a heap of trouble.
