The fight wasn't really a fight. Kudos to Boynton for sticking up for his teammate, even if it was a legal hit, IMO.
To the real issue ..... I can't believe this NHL. That was an illegal hit????? A shoulder to the chin of someone admiring his pass (maybe 1 or 2 seconds after the pass is made) is now illegal??? They should call this the National Figure Skating League.
Get rid of the F'ing instigator rule. Make guys accountable for their actions on the ice. As an example, I don't think Simon would have to chopped Hollweg for his (no call) hit from behind. What an embarrasment this league has become. Let's just let them wear sequined costumes instead of sweaters.

koci will get suspended, maybe never to return to the nhl. koci is just what the nhl needs right now, another brain-dead goon to give bad press.
