Feb 27, 2007 Philadelphia Flyers Todd Fedoruk
2pd 06:24 New York Islanders Chris Simon
They drop the gloves and square off at center ice. They grab ahold of each other and grapple for a short moment until Fedoruk throws two lefts to the side of Simon's helmet. Simon comes back with an uppercut and a short left. They then go toe-to-toe with a couple of rights each. Simon lands two more lefts after that and continues to throw while Fedoruk switches hands and answers with two rights that miss during the flurry. They get in-tight and wrestle around for a bit until Fedoruk gets loose and throws a left. Simon responds with a couple of lefts that Fedoruk is able to move away from. Fedoruk then throws three overhand rights to the back of Simon's helmet followed by two more rights that connect. Simon throws three lefts towards a ducking Fedoruk and Fedoruk comes back with a left cross. They exchange a couple of more lefts until Simon gets Fedoruk bent over and throws two uppercuts followed by a left that connects. They then spin around and Fedoruk pulls Simon closer to him before wrestling him to the ice. The linesmen quickly come in and break things up shortly after. Fedoruk skates back to the dressing room with a cut around his right eye.

ok this was a shock of a fight for me and i am thrilled!!!

both guys really gained huge from this fight

Fridge is finally back and was in a REAL fight for the first time since Boogy and there was not quit in our guy and that was like the old Fridge...he took some heavy shots but looked to gain confidence as the fight went on almost like....hey that wasn't so bad

and big tip of the hat to Simon who really looked like he was into it and we all know how tough he was and in this fight it took me back to the good old Simon days for even one fight

given where these guys started from before this fight ....both were kind of on the outs IMO.....this fight was shocking, really great, both guys won huge....and i have it as an 8 out of 10 and a top 5 fight of the year

sorry to sound so giddy its just so cool to see these guys throw down like this!!

PRETTY MUCH A DRAW HERE, FEDORUK COULD HAVE NAILED HIM AT THE END, SO I SAY EVEN THOUGH SIMON HAD A BIT OF AN EDGE, FEDORUK'S CLASS AT THE END WHEN HE COULD HAVE TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF SIMON BEING DOWN EVENS IT UP. WHY IS THIS BEING RATED SO HIGH TOO ? SHOULD BE ABOUT 6.5 AND PEOPLE HAVE IT WAY UP.

T Fed is done. Sad to see this guy get pounded everytime now. This guy needs to quit before somebody hurts him again. He was lucky Simon didnt break his face again. Clearly a lopsided win for Simon. Also for the couple of people who thought T FED won or that this fight was a draw, I have to ask what fight were you watching? Maybe you watched this fight thru Flyer colored glasses.

Simon destroys Fedoruk with real hits that really land on target.
Fedoruk throws a few punches, before realising its no use and wrestles Simon to the ice.
Easy win for Simon.
