Feb 27, 2007 Philadelphia Flyers Todd Fedoruk
2pd 06:24 New York Islanders Chris Simon
They drop the gloves and square off at center ice. They grab ahold of each other and grapple for a short moment until Fedoruk throws two lefts to the side of Simon's helmet. Simon comes back with an uppercut and a short left. They then go toe-to-toe with a couple of rights each. Simon lands two more lefts after that and continues to throw while Fedoruk switches hands and answers with two rights that miss during the flurry. They get in-tight and wrestle around for a bit until Fedoruk gets loose and throws a left. Simon responds with a couple of lefts that Fedoruk is able to move away from. Fedoruk then throws three overhand rights to the back of Simon's helmet followed by two more rights that connect. Simon throws three lefts towards a ducking Fedoruk and Fedoruk comes back with a left cross. They exchange a couple of more lefts until Simon gets Fedoruk bent over and throws two uppercuts followed by a left that connects. They then spin around and Fedoruk pulls Simon closer to him before wrestling him to the ice. The linesmen quickly come in and break things up shortly after. Fedoruk skates back to the dressing room with a cut around his right eye.

looked ugly for fedoruk at first, but he came back with some of his own. simon's tough, but i wouldn't be so quick to give him the win. for a guy who had a crushed face, fedoruk showed alot of guts.

Fedoruk did a good job of hanging in and taking the first wave from Simon and got in some good shots of his own. Simon should have KO'ed him but hey some nights u just cant get that one real good shot in. Simon gets the win but Fedoruk gets an honorable mention for taking abuse and still coming back

another loss for fridge...he's not been the same since he became part of boogaard's highlight reel

Close fight but I would give the decision to Simon. It looked like Fedoruk was on the defensive for most of the tilt. Nice shots landed by both.

Fedoruk hung in there, but Simon was in control 80% of the time.

This was an awesome fight...suprised fedoruk never quit, holy smokes he can take a beating... I was never an Islander fan, but man there making some good moves this year. They acquired some more great offence , and possibly the toughest team in the league proving that last night. Way to go Ted Nolan and Garth Snow. If I didn't live on the other side of the continent i'd be a season ticket holder
